Further, it violates Florida's animal cruelty laws involving mutilation - even if the coyotes and foxes don't count, the hunting dogs certainly do and sometimes they get killed. Coyotes can get vicious and will not die without a fight. They bite the dogs with their multitudes of diseases. CHILDREN watch this state sanctioned blood sport and mauling coyotes to death can take over an hour of screaming, agony, mutilation - even ripping extremities right out of the sockets. Now this cannot be denied this is child abuse and will damage a child psychologically. I plan to Petition the Department of Health and ask them to contact the Fish & Game Commission to recommend banning penned blood sports due to being an absolute threat to the communities including other species of RABIES. These hunting dogs were trained to kill and puts CHILDREN AT RISK of getting mauled by vicious dangerous dogs.
