The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is asking visitors to Florida beaches to be careful and watch out for sea turtles coming ashore to lay their eggs. The nesting season starts this month and lasts through October. Five different types of turtles nest on Florida shores, all of which are threatened or endangered.
Check out FWC's sea turtle nesting slideshow here. For more information on sea turtles, go to MyFWC.com/SeaTurtle.

A crazy and cruel person that lives in Ocean Woods Townhouses in Cape Canaveral, Florida is shooting to death these beautiful Peacocks birds, mostly males for their mating calls or for no reason at all. He or she has killed a total of 10 peackocks for the last two weeks. And also today in the news, I heard that they are poisoning stray or domestic cats.
Please help to somehow stop this cruelty. I am not sure if the police is really trying to stop this madness, but it has been two weeks and nobody has seen anything? It probably tells me that there is more then one person involved in this madness.
