Salmon and preemption

I'd posted a quick blurb a few days back about the California Supreme Court's decision to reinstate state lawsuits over the labeling of farmed salmon. Over at Findlaw, Professor Donna Byrne has an detailed and interesting article on the case here. Prof. Byrne is a professor at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, MN, where she teaches a seminar on food law & policy. She also runs the Food Law Prof Blog, which contains a number excellent posts on different food animal issues, including a number on the recent cow meat recall.
