Largo Woman Arrested On Animal Cruelty Charges

MSNBC reports here on the arrest of a Largo woman who has been charged with 17 counts of animal cruelty. A spokesperson for the Pinellas County Sheriff's office said that police discovered 10 pugs, 6 peekapoos and one Labrador retriever mix. According to the article, officials said that the dogs were infested with fleas and their fur matted with feces. They were taken to Pinellas County chapter of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Largo.
